Golden Whale strengthens Asia expansion with Jaime Ocampo appointment
Golden Whale, a provider of machine learning-powered optimisation and decision intelligence solutions for the iGaming sector, has announced the appointment of Jaime Ocampo as Managing Director, Asia. The move represents a key milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
In his new role, Ocampo will oversee Golden Whale’s commercial development and regional strategy throughout Asia-Pacific. He will focus on helping operators implement continuously learning models designed to enhance precision in decision-making across player engagement and incentive strategies.
Ocampo joins the company with more than two decades of experience spanning digital technology, gaming and data-led growth. His career includes senior leadership positions at global organisations such as Kochava, DeNA, Funstage GmbH and Electronic Arts. His expertise covers digital marketing, mobile gaming, monetisation and user acquisition, alongside a strong grounding in data science, modelling and SaaS optimisation.
Earlier in his career, Ocampo contributed to the expansion of mobile gaming operations across several Asia-Pacific markets. His work included securing major publishing partnerships and delivering multi-million revenue growth through live operations and in-game re-engagement initiatives.
